GRANGE THISTLE’S NEW CHANGEROOMS

We have just received spectacular news that we have been successful in receiving a grant for construction of Stage 1 of our new change rooms from Sport and Recreation and for Stage 2 through Brisbane City Council. That means that all our funding requests for the new change rooms have now been honored. The facility will include four new change rooms, toilets and showers, match officials room, storeroom, public toilets and the provision for a new canteen at a later stage. Construction will start in April/May 2009 and should be ready for the 2010 Season.

We have also recently received another grant for water tanks and irrigation for our main field which we hope to have also installed in time for the 2010 season. The main field will also have some new turf laid in some areas over the next few weeks in ready for the 2009 Season.

MEMBERS DRAW RULES

The member’s draw is open to all financial Full Members and their Associate Members, Financial Social Members and Life Members.

The 2008 draw will commence on the 18th April and will start at $200.00. Each week there will be one draw and if not claimed the amount will Jackpot by $50.00 each week.

To claim a prize, the member drawn must be present at the club, be financial and he/she must present themselves with identification to the draw official within 5 minutes of the draw.

If a prize is claimed before and not including the final draw on the 5th December, the prize for the following week will revert back to the first draw amount of $200.00.

On the final draw on the 5th December if the prize is not claimed after the first draw, there will be a maximum of four further draws (providing there is no winner) reducing by an equal amount each time to the final draw of $200.00.
