Club Treasurer
HONORARY CLUB TREASURER

The current Club Treasurer has announced his intention to step down from the position and we are seeking a person with good accounting/bookkeeping
knowledge and experience with MYOB (or similar systems) to take up the position. The role would suit someone not in a full time position elsewhere (grandparent or stay at home parent would also be suitable) and the current Treasurer is willing to provide appropriate on-the-job training over a
reasonable period of time to ensure a smooth hand-over of duties. The majority of the work could be
undertaken from home and the Club would ensure that MYOB software is made available for the home computer.
Your role would include responsibility for:
- Monthly and yearly accounts preparation for Boardand AGM (including liaison with external
Auditor)
- Oversight of banking (twice-weekly banking is currently undertaken by another Club volunteer and this is expected to continue
- Account reconciliations
- Accounts receivable and payable
- General Admin support to the Board
