Fields 2 and 3 are open for training.  Field 1 will not be available for training on Tuesday 1 May, because some make-up games for the Seniors have been scheduled on Tuesday night.  This means that all teams that train on Tuesday 1 May will need to squeeze onto fields 2 and 3.

All Senior games being Metro 2, 4 & 6 to be played today 28/4 have been cancelled. In addition the Womens Div 5 Blue game for tomorrow Sunday 29/4 has been cancelled.

Football Brisbane have cancelled all junior fixtures for Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April.  All games will be declared a nil all draw, including the ones that may have already been played.  Enclosed is the link to the Football Brisbane posting.

A big thank you to to our local Westpac Lutwyche branch for providing the Sausage Sizzle on Saturday morning. Manager Kerry and her team not only provided the BBQ trailer, but also provided all the sausages, bread etc and manned it as well !.

They raised over $300 in sales and donated all the proceeds to Grange Thistle to go towards the upkeep and maintenance of it’s club and grounds.

Again a big thank you to the Westpac team (Kerry Walker, Jeremy Heeney, Aroha Ripley and Elise Taylor) for their continued and valuable support of Grange Thistle.

Bayside Match Report

The Juniors office is in the green building behind the canteen.  It is no longer in the main club house.  The office is opened between 6 and 6:30pm on the Tuesdays and Thursdays when Juniors training is on.  The office will also be open on the Saturday mornings when there are fixtures being played.  

We would like to be able to open the office on other week nights but we don’t have any parent volunteers who could be in the office on those nights.  If there are some groups of parents who will be at the club on the Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights for their kids’ training, and would like to help out with the office, please contact Ken Hastie on kshastie@gmail.com.

The small sized shirts and socks have arrived and are available in the Juniors Office.  The office will be open from 6 until 6:30 on Tuesday and Thursday night, and on the Saturday morning during fixtures.
